What this page is

We tell you what we collect on this site, where it goes, and how to make us delete it. No legalese cosplay.

What we collect

The contact form. Three fields: your name, your email, and what you need. If you fill it out, that is what we get. We do not collect anything you do not type.

Analytics. We use Plausible. It is built that way on purpose: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no storage of your IP address. It counts pageviews and tells us which page sent you here. It cannot identify you. (If Plausible has not been added to the site yet at the time you are reading this, the only thing we collect is the contact form.)

Server logs. Standard web-server logs (timestamp, page requested, your browser's user-agent string) are kept for 7 days for security and debugging, then rotated out.

Where it goes

Form submissions go through Resend (our email-sending service) to support@hostsnapper.com. The email lands in our Google Workspace mailbox and stays in the reply thread until you tell us to delete it.

Analytics events go to Plausible. They are never sold, shared, or joined with other data sources. We do not run ads on this site, so nothing reaches an ad network.

That is the whole list. Resend, Plausible, and the inbox that receives your message. No other third parties.

How long we keep it

As long as we are in conversation with you. Once the conversation ends, the thread stays in our inbox until you ask us to delete it.

How to make us delete it

Email support@hostsnapper.com with the subject "Delete my data". We purge the thread and confirm in writing within 7 days.

If something changes

If we add another tool that collects anything about you (a CRM, a chat widget, a heatmap, anything), we update this page and bump the date at the top before turning it on. Not after.
